In-folio (mm 310x200). Pagine [116], 563 [1]. Con 27 carte
geografiche in xilografia a doppia pagina (fuori testo e nel testo).
Restaurato il margine esterno dei primi quaderni. Bruniture più
accentuate al centro del volume e arrossature sparse lungo tutto
il volume; alone di umidità al margine superiore delle ultime 50
pagine. Piccolo restauro al margine superiore del frontespizio,
parzialmente controfondato. Legatura coeva in pergamena scura.
Prima edizione illustrata della più importante geografia del mondo latino.
Le mappe seguono la tradizione di Ptolemaeus e sono inspirate a quelle
fatte dal Münster per la sua edizione della
Geografia
