Very rare first and only edition
of these tables for metrological conversions and manual
for calculations of distances and surfaces, dry and liquid measures and change of different
currencies by the Dutch school teacher and mathematician Claes Pieterszoon from
Deventer (+ 1602). In this period, as Amsterdam was isolated from the rest of Holland for
its alliance with the Spanish, Herman Jz Muller was the only printer/editor active in town.

un professeur et mathématicien hollandais. (qqs ff. déreliés, qqs taches brunes, manquent 2 ff. à la
seconde partie). Broché sous couv. muette mod.
Eerste en enige uitgave van deze tafels om afstanden, gewichten, maten en munten om te rekenen,
samengesteld door de Nederlands schrijf- en rekenmeester Claes Pietersz. uit Deventer. (enkele bln
gelost, enkele bruine vlekken, 2 bln ontbreken, hoek van p. 181 afgescheurd). Genaaid onder blinde
omslag.
