scenes from the Rhineland and Belgium
(the Holland part missing).
Ruined castles alternate with gothic cathedrals, views of town squares, rural and urban scenes with in the
foreground, ladies and gentlemen, peasants, soldiers, and boatmen. The plates depict views from Heidelberg,
Wurzburg, Frankfurt, Andernach, Cologne, Tournai, Bruges, Brussels, Antwerp, Amsterdam etc.
