Extensive legal discussion between the villages of the Franc de Bruges (het Brugse Vrije) en ecclesiastical
landowners on the tithes to be paid. This copy appears to belong to an
earlier variant state
in comparison
with the copies described by STCV : 1° it is dated 1688 (A1r) whereas the Bruges copy (STCV) has an
additional date 1689 and a subscription "J. Bernaige". 2
°
it does not possess the bifolium "*" with a Dutch
dedication - both variants appear to have been added after part of the print run was already ready. Old
manuscript notes in a few quires. Old acquisition note on front flyleaf ("Kervijn 1740 emptus").
