encouraging him to print this text. “Petit traité de morale stoïcienne, composé en majeure partie
de sentences empruntées à des auteurs latins anciens” (B.B.). With a dedication by Clichtoveus
(1472-1543) to the French Royal Confessor Guillaume Petit. Capital spaces with guide letters.
Some underlinings and marg. ms. notes in red ink. Old flyleaf bound with containing a quotation, a
schoolboy’s drawing and the name “Johannes Albini [De Witte?], Brugensis sum, 1611”.
