Very rare edition
of the comedies by Plaute (254-184 BC) as edited by Filippo Beroaldo
(1453-1505). Interesting copy for the numerous interlinear and marginal annotations and for
the extensive notes on 3 interleaved pages in different humanist handwrittings, consisting in
corrections, variant versions of the text and grammatical remarks. Keywords in the margin,
underlinings or signs emphasize some parts of the text. Wide margined copy of this nice
and scarce post incunabulum with neat typography.
