(in casu of St Paul), by the Augustinian K. Leib (1471-1553), a defender of
monastic vows. It is written in the form of a letter (from his convent in Rebdorf, 4 Dec. 1544) to the Catholic
apologetic controversialist Johannes Cochlaeus (1479-1552). Cochlaeus published the letter with an
additional dedication to the bishop of Speyer (5 Dec. 1544). The text contains some references to Erasmus'
