CONDITIONS OF SALE

General Conditions:

The sale shall be made expressly in cash.

No complaint shall be admissible once the bidding is announced, with the successive presentations enabling buyers to record the condition of the objects

presented.

The winner shall be the last bidder offering the highest price and shall be required to give his name and address.

In the event of dispute at the time of close of auction, i.e. if it is established that two or more bidders have simultaneously submitted an equivalent bid, either

out loud or through a sign, and claim this object at the same time after the word “sold” is stated, the said object shall be immediately re-submitted for bidding

at the price proposed by the bidders and the whole audience shall be allowed to bid again.

The date indicated between brackets […] corresponds to creation of the template. The document presented has been created subsequently.

Any changes to the conditions of sale or the catalogue descriptions will be announced verbally during the sale and noted on the report.

Costs of the sale and payment:

Purchased lots will become available only after full payment has been made. The sale will be conducted in Euros. In addition to the hammer price, the

buyer agrees to pay a buyer’s premium along with any applicable value added tax.

The buyer’s premium is 28 % + VAT amounting to 30 % (all taxes included) for all bids. Books (25% + VAT amounting to 26,375%).

Payment must be made immediately after the sale:

- in cash (euros) up to € 1000 for French nationals or up to € 15000 for foreign nationals (upon presentation of evidence of address, notice of tax assessment,

etc.; plus passport).

- by bank cheque (in euros) payable to ADER, with mandatory presentation of a valid identity document. Foreign cheques are not accepted.

- by bank card (Visa, Mastercard).

- by “3D secure” payment at the website

www.ader-paris.fr

- by bank transfer in euros to ADER.

Purchase orders:

A bidder not attending the sale must complete the purchase order form included in the catalogue, in full, and sign it.

ADER shall act on behalf of the bidder, in accordance with the instructions contained in the purchase order form, in order to try and buy the lot(s) at the lowest

possible price and not in any circumstances exceeding the maximum amount indicated by the bidder.

The said form must be sent to and received at the office no later than 24 hours before the start of the sale.

Purchase orders or auctions by telephone are a facility for customers. ADER may not be held liable for having failed to execute an order in error or for any

other reason. Please check after sending that your purchase order has been duly registered.

ADER reserves the right not to register the purchase order if it is not complete or if it considers that the customer does not offer all guarantees for the security

of the transactions; no appeal is possible.

To guarantee the goodwill of the buyer a deposit may be requested before the sale, which shall only be validated in the event of winning.

Drouot Live is a facility managed by Drouot. Therefore

ADER

is not responsable for any disfonctionement.

Transport of lots / Export:

Once closure of the auction is announced, purchases are under the full responsibility of the winning bidder.

No lot shall be given to buyers before payment of all sums due.

Small sized purchases shall be taken to ADER, 3 rue Favart 75002 Paris, where they will be stored free of charge for 14 days. The office is open from Monday

to Friday from 9am to 6pm.

Large purchases will be stored, under their conditions and costs, at the warehouse of Hôtel Drouot, 6 bis rue Rossini, 75009 Paris (Phone number: 01 48 00

20 18), where they may be collected upon presentation of the paid invoice.

Buyers wishing to export their purchases must notify this no later than the day of the sale. They may recover the VAT on the purchase fees providing customs

evidence in proper and due form is given to ADER and the name of the Auction House is mentioned thereon as exporter. The auction invoice is due in its

entirety; the VAT shall be reimbursable subsequently.

ADER offers a fee paying shipping service for lots purchased by its clients.

ADER reserves the right to refuse shipment of any item should the legal and practical conditions present a risk. Delays are not guaranteed and are dependent

upon the activities of the auction house.

All packaging and shipping costs will be met by the client and shall be paid directly to ADER.

If the above terms and conditions are not suitable to the buyer then the buyer shall organize the transportation of the lots.

Payment default:

In the absence of payment by the winning bidder of all sums due within one month of the sale, and after a single formal notice to pay is sent by registered letter

remainswithout effect, ADER shall instigate recovery proceedings. The buyer shall be listedon the centralisedpayment incident file of the SYMEV

(www.symev.org)

and all costs will remain under his responsibility. From one month after the sale and the seller’s request, the sale may be cancelled without possible appeal.
