13 numbered aquatints by Matthew Dubourg after John Heaviside Clark (c. 1771–1836), a
Scottish painter and aquatint. The plates depicting scenes of bullfighting, of which 1 gives
a general view of a bull fight, are finely enhanced with watercolours and accompanied by
explanatory texts of which the last and longer one strongly criticises the sport. From the
"Spanish bullfighting series" originally published in "Foreign field sports, fisheries, sporting
ancedotes", by Edward Ormé in 1814.
