Very early
if not first ed. of the highly succesful comic opera of von Dittersdorf (1739-1799),
Austrian composer and violinist. With this first Singspiel commissionned by the Burgtheater he
scored his greatest succes. It’s one of the few operas from that time in Vienna to have held stage
to the present day. Playing in houses all over Europe von Dittersdorf’s opera found his way very
quickly to major theatres abroad.

Fridzeri was a remarkable blind mandolin virtuoso, violinist, organist and composer. Manuscript
