Superbly illustrated Dutch flora by A. Munting (1626-1683), botanist and professor at the University

of Groningen. He enlarged the botanical garden of his father H. Munting, one of the most extensive

gardens of that period.

[not before 1692], folio, cont. blindruled vellum (sl. soiled, some spots), blue edges, [12-2 bl.] pp.,

31 engravings (some clear unobtrusive dampstaining, some tears, corners and margins repaired). In

all a very good copy.

Netherlands to study Dutch windmills.
