Small in-f° : [8]-340 [i.e. 344]-[16] pp. (lvs q1 and q8 not paginated, marginalia erased in the beginning, some

pp. slightly browned, light marginal dampstains on 2 lvs at the end, fresh condition).

Contemporary binding : calf, gilt decorated ribbed spine with modern red label, red sprinkled edges (strongly

rubbed, scratches, upper turn in lacking, edges and corners strongly dulled with lacks of leather).

on Roman and Greek weights and measures and on the weight of gold and silver coins.

With some Greek and Hebrew authors' extracts. Agricola (1494-1555) was a German

scientist known as the father of mineralogy and was the physician of Chemnitz, the centre

of the mining industry. Neat typography with large historiated initials and with 2 Froben's

devices on the title-page and on the last page.
