Le Roy, publ. in 1692.

various formats, some printed on joined sheets (waterstains, 4 pls loose, lower corners of 2 pls

torn off not affecting the map, some minor marg. tears, 1 sm. marg. def. on t.-p., soiled & rep.

endpapers). Good copy.

This well-known atlas by Eugène-Henry Fricx, compiles 2 very heterogeneous parts, with as only

link, the Succession War of Spain. Complete as mentionned in the engr. table printed within a

nice allegorical frame, the 1st part consists of pure topographical maps:

48 city maps and

maps of sieges and battles

. All the maps are engraved by

Jacob Harrewyn

4to agenda, half red calf, covers covered with vellum (rubbed, soiled), [7-1 bl.] pp. (browned, some

marg. water- & mildew stains, some folds split, underlaid and repaired, one map loose, some stains).

Used but still rather good copy.
