Het bekendste zwart-wit portret van de Belgische politicus Joris Van Severen (1894-1940). Van
Severen was stichter van het Vlaams-nationalistische en solidaristische Verdinaso. Willy Kessels
(1889-1974) was een Belgisch fotograaf en wordt gezien als de belangrijkste vertegenwoordiger
van de “modernistische” fotografie die vanaf het einde van de jaren 1920 op de voorgrond trad.
In 1935 sloot hij vriendschap met Van Severen en realiseerde hij foto- en filmreportages voor het
Verdinaso.

de nombreux concerts entre les deux guerres.

The Ravetllat-Pla Institute, located in the Guinardó district of Barcelona, was founded by the
veterinary doctor Joaquim Ravetllat and doctor Ramon Armengol in 1919 to develop a treatment of
tuberculosis. Views of the back facade, the library, the laboratories (3), the stables (?), etc.
