etc., by the Limburg Jesuit G. Henschenius (Venray 1601 - Antwerp 1681), an
early collaborator of Bollandus for the Acta Sanctorum. The present work was included in the Acta
Sanctorum (VII, May) in a revised version. Woodcut mark on title. Presentation inscription “dono
auctoris” tot the Brussels Jesuits; later in the famous collection of J.Fr. Vandevelde (name on
flyleaf).

mazarinade en vers est l’oeuvre de M. Questier, dir Fort-Lys (+ vers 1650), astrologue à la mode en
son temps et qui “aimait à se représenter sous un costume galant et avec une allure matamoresque”
(Grand-Carteret, Les almanachs français 1600-1895, no 33). Les parties 2 à 12 sont intitulées
“Suitte du Journal poetique de la guerre parisienne (...) Seconde [- Douziesme sepmaine]; la
13ième partie a pour titre “Conclusion du Journal poetique de la guerre parisienne”. Ex. finement
relié par le relieur bruxellois
