Reverse copies of Bartsch VIII 100 (Hercules and Cerberus, upper part defect.), 166 (2 musicians),

168 (2 peasants dancing), 170-172 (id.), 176 (“Ich wil auch mit”), 191 (peasant going to the

market). Not identified: a woman between 2 men of which one playing pipe (monogr. “ISB”), 3

“military” putti (monogr. “ISP”), 2 musicians (monogr. “CB”).

name, title and date. Small paper flaw in the left side, faint traces on verso. Nice copy.

Beautiful allegorical representation of “Patience” as a winged woman huging a lamb. Monogr.

Part of a pictorial Bible (N.T.), after different artists (J. Breugel, P. Bril, M. Van Heemskerck, M. De

Vos, or not signed). Representation of the parable of the Good and Bad Seed (n. 1-4), of the Good

Samaritan (n. 1-4), of the Beatitudes (n. 1-8), of the Miracles (n. 1-12 + 1 not numb.) and 6 pl. (n.

1-6) picturing various words of the Lord (the Publican and the sinner prayer, Martha and Mary, the

Stoning of Magdalene, the Poor widow, etc.).

(trimmed to the borderline); not signed. Stuck by upper corners under passe-partout. Formerly

underlaid, some visible tears and split., dampstain in upper left part, etc. Still an impressive plate.
