c. 28 x 21 cm, each with a coloured drawing of arms found on the walls of the Leuze church, and
with the dates “1638” and “1682”. With remains of seals. In good condition.

Plan de terrains situés à Moerbeke en Flandre Orientale, finement exécuté au trait et rehaussé
d’aquarelle. Les terrains jouxtent le canal de Gand avec un dessin de l’église de Moerbeke. Les
mesures détaillées figurent dans un cartouche. Né à Brunn en Moravie, Fr.-X. de Valenzi, ancien
officier au service de l’Autriche, était issu d’une famille d’origine italienne établie dès le XVIe
s. en Allemagne, puis aux Pays-Bas. Il épousa en 1792 Jeanne-Colette de Berlaere et reçut
reconnaissance de noblesse en juin 1827.
