Rare enlarged ed. (1st 1538) of the Latin poetry of the German diplomat and Königsberg professor

Georg Sabinus (1508-1560), son-in-law of Melanchthon. The collection includes his elegies, the

“Caesares Germanici”, eclogues and epigrams, as well as some Greek verses. With an additional

collection of a

treatise on poetry and humanist letters by or to P. Bembo, Ph. Melanchthon and

Erasmus
