Description
Nice bifolium, containing Bk X, 17-28 of Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics in the Renaissance Latin version of Leonardo Bruni of Arezzo (1370-1444). This version is preserved in many manuscripts and early printed editions (e.g. Paris, S. de Colines, 1535: on ff. 38-39). In the margin of 1 p. a 16th-c. hand wrote "In hoc signo vinces" (the famous "IHS", ascribed by Lactantius to Emperor Constantine the Great).
