Description
Only ed. of this very rare chronicle of Brabant for the years 1516-1565, ascribed to Jan Mollijns (acrostich on A1v) or Bernard van de Putte. Complete with the (often lacking) large folding map of the new Canal from Brussels to Antwerp (on 4 ff., 3 tears repaired). Woodcut portrait of Charles V on title, 8 woodcuts  in text (1 repeat) i.a. a full-page portrait of Philip II and a full-page view of Antwerp and the frozen Scheldt (p. 443). Printed in gothic type in 2 cols.
