Description
Second vol., complete in itself, of the 3-volume 1573 ed. of the "Corpus iuris canonici", annotated by the Paris law professor Martin Gilbert. This co-ed. of 3 Antwerp publishers is remarkable for its large woodcut mark (a combination of the marks of the 3 firms involved), and was perhaps printed by Jan Verwithagen. Mark on title.
