Description
Nice run of this important political journal edited, and for a large part also compiled, by the former Jesuit F.-X. de Feller (1735-1802) – a continuation of “La clef du cabinet des princes de l’Europe” (1704-1773). The “Journal historique et littéraire” first appeared in Luxemburg from August 1773 until February 1788, and was continued in Maastricht from Febr. 1788 until Dec. 1794, appearing twice a month. The later years openly support the aristocratic and ecclesiastical parties. Present here: (1775) Jan.-March (1 vol) and Nov. (1 fasc.), (1782) Jan.-Apr. (1 vol.), (1783) Febr.
