Description
15 x 10,2 cm (small margins); engr. monogr. of Dürer and date "1518". Stuck by upper corners under passe-partout. Small paper flaw in lower right corner otherwise good impression.  2nd state (of 2). Reverse copy of this beautiful small plate. We join : Wierix - The Virgin and Child seated by a tree, 1517. Tool engr., 11,4 x 7,3 cm (trimmed to the platemark); engr. monogr. of Dürer and date. Stuck by upper corners under passe-partout. Only state attr. to one of the Wierix brothers. Reverse copy.
