folio, half vellum (rest.), orig. lithogr. with title on frontcover, double folded prints mounted on stubs (new endpapers, 1st p. sl. soiled). Good copy.
Orig. completely lithographed edition of Goethe's "Reinecke Fuchs", printed as a so called "block-book" with 29 colour lithogr. by Lovis Corinth (Russia 1858 - Holland 1925), German impressionist painter and printmaker : cover + 28 pls of which 14 are illustrated textpages written by hand and 14 full-page lithogr. On t.-p. a portrait of Goethe. Publisher's copy ("Verlagsexemplar", written in brown pencil on last page), one of the ed. on "Bütten" paper (51/200), signed by Corinth on the t.-p. only. With on front endpaper autogr. dedication to "Luciano Baldessari", famous Italian architect and painter (Rovereto 1896 - Milano 1982).
