Description
Various artists and sizes, various techniques on paper: watercolour, ink or pencil drawings; some signed or monogramed. Well kept, pasted by upper corners, in a nice blue velvet oblong album with gilt metal borders, central and corner ornamental pieces, red watered silk endpapers. Nice collection in very good condition.
Attractive collection of drawings on a variety of subjects (landscapes, portraits, caricatures, animals, costumes, etc.). I.a. Prudhon - "Une porte de Newgate à Londres", s.d., watercolour, 17 x 13 cm. - Wise, G. - [Dog], pencil, 7 x 14 cm. Blindstamp. - Godinau, I. - [Hunter], 1848, pencil, 14,5 x 9,7 cm. - De Keyser, P. - [Sterckxhof ?], oil on vellum (?), oval drawing, 10,5 x 14 cm. - 20 caricatures, s.d., 11 x 7,5 cm, with some military subjects.
