Description
Interesting account on the early days of aviation showing the first airplanes, the so called biplanes (fixed-wing aircrafts with two main wings stacked one above the other) but also a monoplane. The pictures are possibly taken during an air show and display a crowd of spectators and single individuals talking to pilots. Images of details of airplaines (propellor), of airplanes on the ground and up in the air. We join : 17 diapositives of a hot air balloon show. The pictures show well dressed-people (adults and children) close to the balloons. Several images of the balloons still held on the ground with weights, which were attached to the balloons by using a network of ropes. Some images of the balloon fully loaded with air and one image of about a dozen balloons up in the air at various heights. (34 pcs)
