Description
Rare French magic lantern for magic lantern slides with varying dimensions complete with brass lens, original ? lamp and electrical power supply. With type plate. Standing on a wooden tripod, 132 x 57 cm (not attached). Example of the most succesfull years of these “Constructeurs d’instruments pour les Sciences”. The fusion of two familiar houses around 1900 : Molteni (est. in 1782) and Radiguet (est. in 1805) led them to become an important player in the market of manufacturing optical instruments.
