8vo, orig. publ. binding (cover faded). Good copy. First edition of another of Kafka's unfinished novels posthumously published and edited by Max Brod. Brod saved all the work of Kafka ignoring the request of the latter to destroy it all. "Der Prozess" counts as one of the most important works of fiction of the 20th c. It's perhaps this novel which is most associated in the mind of the reading public with the notion of "Kafkaesque".
