from John Speede's "A Prospect of the Most Famous Parts of the World", published by G. Humble, 39 x 50,5 cm, nicely col. (2 sm. wormholes rep. in armorial pl. which is left blank). Under passe-partout, glass and decorated wooden frame. Very good copy. Attractive map of Tartary with part of Europe, America and China. Decorative panels on 3 sides: on upper side views of the cities Astrakan, Samarkand, Cambalu, and Barents' wintering hut on Nova Zembla. On both sides panels of costumed figures. Insular Korea in the Pacific. We join : Tartaria. Amst., Hondius, c. 1620, 33 x 49 cm, full col. (some browning, soiling, c'fold split). Framed (not unframed). Good copy. With part of Europe, America and China. (2 maps)
