8vo, mod. boards, [12]-134-[2] ff. (minor soiling, sm. def. in top margin of last f.). Very good copy.   Rare treatise by the Low Countries physician Lemnius (1505-1568) on plants and trees used in biblical comparisons. The ed. is dedicated to Thomas Tilius, and is also of lexicographical interest (vernacular plant names). The 1587 English trsl. is titled “An herbal for the Bible”.
