8vo, mod. calf (rubbed), [16]-249 (=247)-[1] pp. (marg. dampstained, edges somewhat frayed, occ. spotting or soiling). Copy ruled in red. 2nd recorded copy (?) of this rare defense of the “old Faith” by N. Grenier (1505-1570), canon of St. Victor in Paris. Written in the form of a dialogue between “Le bien allant” and “Le mal allant”. Title within elaborate woodcut border. Woodcut mark of André at the end. Woodcut ill. on ê4r. Old names on title and at end i.a. "Franciscus Caussin".
