4to, mod. half vellum, marbled paper on sides, [4]-lvii-[7] ff. (paper age-toned, some dampstaining, sm. wormtrack in blank fore-edge margin). Good copy. Very early ed. of the original version of Erasmus' Adages. Capital spaces with guide letters. A few ms. quotations in margins.
