Good copy. 1. Rare 2nd ed. (1st 1570) of the 2nd translation/adaptation into German of Grisoni’s “Ordini di cavalcare” (Naples 1550). Double-page circular woodcut indicating 75 diseases inserted between Z6-7, 88 full-page woodcuts (some repeats), including 6 of a standing horse and 1 of a horse’s skull, 16 illustrating horse training and dressage, 22 plans relating to horse training etc. Title in red & black within elaborate woodcut border with portraits of famous riders.
