Description
16mo, mod. boards, 301-[19] pp. (some minor staining). Very good copy. Extr. rare copy of the issue by A. Tielens of a book on the use of praying for the dead by the Brabant theologian Garetius (1499-1571). It was printed by Plantin, and published under his own name. From archival evidence it appeared that Tielens took half of the edition and published it with his own imprint. There is no copy of this imprint in Belgian libraries. Woodcut ornament on title.
