8vo, 19th-c. gilt half calf (rubbed), gilt spine on 4 raised bands (joints splitting), marbl. endpapers, [16]-592-[40] pp. (somewhat short, touching some printed marginalia, some spotting, paper age-toned). Good copy. 1st critical ed. of this Roman lexicographer and grammarian (4th C.) by the Haarlem humanist Junius (1511-1575). Copy with the rare variant titlepage. Woodcut mark on title.
