24mo, 18th-c. mottled calf (sl. rubbed), richly gilt spine (sm. def. at tail), marbl. endpapers, green silk marker, 719-[1] pp. (paper age-toned, edges 1st ff. sl. frayed). Acceptable copy. Extr. rare pocket ed. for students. Printed at Leiden by Fr. Raphelengius at the end of 1587. A number of copies (i.a. this one) received Plantin’s Antwerp t.-p. (Leiden issue: TB 4033). Woodcut mark on title. Old ownership entries on title (crossed out with loss of 2 letters) and p. 3.
