12mo, cont. mottled calf (sl. rubed, corners sl. bumped), gilt orn. spine on 5 raised bands (upper joint splitting), marbl. edges, endpaper loose, [12]-345-[31]-213-[15] pp. (minor dampstains on 1st lvs, 1 single stain). Nice copy. 1st ed. (repr. 1711) of some studies of ancient footwear (shoes and boots). In Pt. II, pp. 171-213 the treatise by Rubens’ son Albert. Engr. ills : front. by H.
