8vo, old limp overl. vellum (recased with new endpapers), flat spine titled in ink, [32]-553-[23] pp. (paper age-toned, worming in top inner margin of quires Aa-Cc touching some letters). Good copy. Rare repr. of a typical religious emblem book on the heart by B. van Haeften (1588-1648), 1st publ. 1629. Engr. ills : title and 55 emblems by Boetius a Bolswert. Collector’s stamps.
