3 vols, lge folio, cont. richly goldtooled mottled calf (sl. rubbed), covers with gilt ornamental border patterns and large centrepc. with the figure of Atlas, richly gilt spines on 7 raised bands, gilt sides, [8]-280-14-160 pp. (faint waterstain in upper part of 1st quires of vol. I, sm. tears in a few plate margins, minor worming (very sm. repairs) in blank fore-edge margin of some ff.). Nice set. Monumental “Prentbijbel" van Pieter de Hondt. Engraved ills : 2 titles (in French) by B. Picart, title vignettes, 2 dedications, head and tail pcs, 217 pls (29 double-page) (OT 147, NT 70), masterly engraved after famous paintings.
