8vo, cont. sheepskin (faint waterstain), gilt spine on 5 raised bands (sl. dam. at head & tail, rubbed joints), gilt coat-of-arms of the Dukes of Arenberg on both covers, spickled edges, [32]-224 pp. Good copy.   First and only ed. of the French trsl. of "The history of the last parliament (...) A. Dom. 1700" (London, 1702), a Tory pamphlet published by J. Drake (1667-1707) in the year of King William's death, accusing the Whigs of contemplating a new model of government and of systematically traducing the princess, now Queen Anne. Armorial bookpl. Dukes of Arenberg and one with a "A" under a Duke's hat.
