Description
(Impressum Colonie, in edibus quonda[m] Henrici Que[n]tell, 1506). Large in-12° : [1]-lvii-[1]-[1 bl.] lvs (copy slightly browned, dampstains, hole due to burning in lf. ii and another small in lf. vii). 17th century binding : half marbled calf, paper boards, flat spine (dampstain on the upper pastedown and flyleaf, the lower ones browned). VERY EARLY POST-INCUNABULUM of this moral work for priesthood under the form of stories and precepts by de Gruytrode (+ 1472), Cartusian prior in Liège, showing the vacuity of the life's pleasures outside the monastic one.
