Description
[Ploegpaard bij Fontenay-aux-roses], 1899. Copperengr., simili-Japon, 18,8 x 23,7 cm; signed “Dupont” in pencil in lower right corner, “L’Outillage” in the plate. One of the “l’Outillage” prints. “Prompt won dit verbluffende stuk grafiek de Gouden Medaille op de wereldtentoonstelling van 1900.” (Van der Blom, p. 140). - [Study sheet with 2 horses], 1897. Etching, simili-Japon, 31,1 x 47 cm; stamp “atelier P. Dupont” in lower right corner, nr. 25 in pencil in lower left corner. P. Dupont (Amsterdam 1870 - Hilversum 1911) was a Dutch engraver, etcher, aquarelist, painter, pastelist, designer of bindings. Ref. Dupont 69 & 61; Van Wisselingh 341.
