Engelbrecht, [c. 1708?], 8vo, mod. blindruled calf, gilt titled spine on 4 raised bands, marbl. endpapers, older flylvs bound with, cloth marker, engr. front., engr. title and 99 (of 100) engravings (Pl. 25 in xerox copy, some ff. underlaid or strengthened). Good uncoloured copy. Early quadrilingual picture dictionary with 900 images each titled in 4 languages. The engravings are ascribed to the Augsburg engraver Heinrich Jonas Ostertag (fl. 1705-1720). “Die lateinische Bildergrammatik, die auf den Liber memoralis des Christoph Cellarius (1st ed. 1689) zurückgeht, bietet auf 100 Kupfertafeln mit je neun Albbildungen lateinische Begriffe mit Angabe der deklinations- bzw. konjugationsklassen sowie der jeweiligen deutschen, französischen und italienischen entsprechung” (schug).
