[Amsterdam, P.G. Van Lom, 1865], concertina book, 17 x 11,5 cm, publisher’s yellow paper over boards with red lettering and decoration incorporating the arms of Amsterdam on front cover (sl. soiled). Good copy. With attractive series of 16 orig. handcol. lithogr. depicting the costumes of dutch men and women in various provinces. Most of the plates show individual women with fancy heardresses, 4 depict couples, 1 a couple riding in a horse-drawn carriage, 2 women with a dogcart, etc. List of plates: “Prov. groningen, noord Brabant, Zeeland, Friesland, amsterdam dienstmeisjes.
