With 28 engr. titles by r. vinkeles and d. vrijdag, 72 (of 78) engraved portraits by L.A. Claessens and L. Portman and 77 engr. folding pl. (some reproduced) after J. Bulthuis, Benazech, duplessi-Bertaux, swebach, Fragonard, a.o. the plates are partly done after the famous tableaux historiques de la revolution française, but many of the historical scenes we do not find in the Tableaux historiques or are treated differently.
