Greely (1844-1935), American polar explorer. With 43 pl. (incl. engr. front. portrait), 82 text ill. and 9 maps (incl. 2 double page and 1 folding). Lower spine titled ‘Crimonmogate’, pointing out at the estate in Scotland inherited by the Carnegie familiy in the late 19th c. Bookpl. carnegie.
