Grèce et de Rome, donné (...) 1881-1882. [Louvain, 1882], Copied by (or for?) Jules d’Anethan. French manuscript on paper, c. 22 x 17,5 cm, [2]-334 pp., cont. half artificial leather (rubbed, lower joint split), gilt flat spine. Well-preserved copy. Course given in “philosophie Iere épreuve” (noted at the end) by the Louvain professor Ch. Moeller (1838-1922). The student Jules d’Anethan (1862-1904) was a grandson of Leopold II’s Catholic Prime Minister Jules Joseph d’Anethan (1803-1888). Jacobs, 1759, 8vo, cont. sheep, gilt spine, [8]-584-[12] pp. Vol. I (of 3), complete in itself, but esp. interesting on account of the document bound with at front: manuscript announcement, c. 23,5 x 28,5 cm (sm. holes in folds) of Pauwels’decease in the Brussels Franciscan Convent on 9 December 1760.
