La célèbre danseuse américaine recommande une amie, chanteuse et claveciniste, pour des concerts au Gordon Hall : « There is here in Paris an artist Madame Brasseur the wife of the "administrator" of the Theatre des Variétés (it does not mean Variety theatre) and you met them (she tells me) at the Grand Hôtel years ago… »
