Contre le Théâtre Everyman de Hampstead (qui avait repris, depuis 1920 You never can tell et plusieurs autres de ses pièces).
Hampstead est le faubourg le plus désespérément philistin d'Angleterre.
Rien d'artistique n'y réussit, jamais. Aucun habitant n'a jamais franchi le seuil du Théâtre Everyman, à l'exception d'ELGAR, et il n'y habite plus... («Hampstead is the most hopelessly Philistine suburb in
