Contemporary binding : parchment, flat spine with title with pen (dampstains, ties partly lacking, scratched ex-libris and handwritten notes on the upper pastedown). Second enlarged edition of the translation (1, ed. of the transi. : 1776) of the abridged version of the "Traité des affections vaporeuses des deux sexes, ou Maladies nerveuses [...]" (1, ed. : 1763) concerning only women. Work, often re-edited, dealing with nervous diseases as hysteria, hypochondria, etc. and given advices to cure oneself without the help of doctors.
